Ha.
Be worse than when we tried to use 50 candles for my dad's 50th.

Hmm. I'd advise against adding candles, though. With all that grease...

If you use enough ghee, oil etc as a topping (as well as in the main base), it offers the opportunity of sticking Alphabetti spaghetti on top with those special messages, such as 'Happy Birthday' or "Buon Compleanno" for that authentic finishing touch.

My 'technique' is to rarely eat it.
If I need a bacon, dairy and pasta fix i go Mac n Cheese with Pancetta or Lardons.
If that offends the purists then fuck off.

Pierogi is plural.
Nobody ever uses the singular pieróg these day - it means "two horn" by the way.

Re: Spaghetti Carbonara

IOCS, neither am I, but some people are.
No need for the 's; on the end of pierogi, or pelmeni, they are already plural by their ending.
Look up bigos, very interesting dish involving different meat, gin and juniper berries.

I am not picky about where things originate or even how it was changed. English and even Canadians can make a mean burger.
I mostly know perogies (sorry) from Ukrainians but have had really good versions of those two dishes from people of Polish descent.

Pierogi is a copy of pelmeni (pyelmeni), which is a Ural/Siberian dish.
Gulasz is a copy of the Hungarian dish goulash, but using pork instead of beef.
The best polish dish is Bigos - the arguments about what should go in it are legion. When its done well, its delicious.

When it's not 32 degree where I am, I would honestly love Pickle's thoughts on gulasz and pierogi.

I believe Pickle has given us 2 culinary recipes. spag bol & carbonaro.
Cheap penny meals.
Not really a fan of this high carb dinners.
Maybe Pickle is trying to fatten up Mama Pickle to make her less attractive to the Karate Instructor

Calling names when exposed again.
Sure Pickle
You pick a pasta brand and give exact measures for most of it but had no idea how much cheese you bought (which you reference) and grated.
